Israel’s military industry has developed a ground-to-ground missile at the request of a member nation of the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance (NATO) which is presently in use by the armed forces of that country as well as Israel, it was disclosed today in the Israeli military industry bulletin. The NATO country was not named.
Deputy Defense Minister Mordechai Zipori said in connection with the report that Israel’s military establishment is cooperating with a number of European nations on ground-to-ground missiles of which the one supplied to the NATO country is an example. That missile was described as of 209 mm, in diameter and medium range.
