Israel’s army issued restraining orders limiting the movements of six Jewish extremists after receiving information that they might attack Palestinians in the territories. Israeli officials began discussing the possibility of issuing the orders a month ago, amid concerns of possible attacks by Jewish extremists opposed to the Wye accord.
