Israel’s Ben-Gurion University of the Negev presented an honorary doctorate to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Wednesday’s move prompted protests by some 70 youth activists, who held signs saying “Sharon is a doctor of assassinations, unemployment, and Lebanon,” Army Radio reported.
