Israel’s Cabinet approved next year’s approximately $53 billion budget by a vote of 14-2. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the budget included the first real increase in defense spending in 10 years. He did not give additional details of the spending plan, which still requires parliamentary approval.
