Israel’s Cabinet voted to keep classified the secret appendix to an inquiry into the 1982 massacres at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who the Kahan Commission said in 1983 bore indirect responsibility for the massacre, had argued that the appendix should be released, the Jerusalem Post reported.
