Ambassador Abba Eban, Israel’s chief delegate at the United Nations, conferred during the week-end with the president of the U.N. General Assembly, and it is believed that he again urged consideration by the U.N. of Israel’s plan for peace in Korea.
Renewed interest in Israel’s ideas with regard to Korea is noted here because of the strong feeling prevailing now in United Nations circles that the Chinese Government in Peking should be confronted with a concrete program for peace talks.
