Israel’s Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi, Rabbi Yissar Yehuda Unterman, was today officially received by Mayor Robert F. Wagner at City Hall. He was accompanied by leaders of all the Orthodox Jewish organizations here. The Mayor said he was proud to greet the Chief Rabbi, and called him “one of the spiritual leaders of world Jewry.”
