Israel’s closure of the West Bank and Gaza Strip will continue through most of April. Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz told the Israeli Cabinet on Sunday that the closure, imposed last month amid fears Palestinian terrorists would try to avenge the assassination of Hamas founder Sheik Ahmed Yassin, would remain in place until after Israel’s Independence Day on April 26.
