Israel’s Counterterrorism Bureau issued a rare global travel warning for its citizens.
The advisory issued Wednesday said the Hezbollah terrorist organization was planning to focus on attacking Israelis throughout the world, with an emphasis on kidnappings.
The warning was not limited to a particular country, as Israel apparently does not have any specific information on where Hezbollah might attack.
Israelis are advised in part to turn down unexpected business or recreation proposals while abroad, to avoid inviting unexpected visitors to their hotel rooms and staying in secluded locations, and to alter their routine if staying in one place for a long time.
