Israel’s defense minister published his diplomatic plan on the front page of a Palestinian newspaper. Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, who also heads the Labor Party, wrote in the Al-Quds newspaper that there can be no military solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and that all settlements in the Gaza Strip should be evacuated, as well as isolated settlements in the West Bank.
