Israel’s deputy prime minister said Israel should set its own borders because there is no chance for a peace agreement with the Palestinians. Ehud Olmert told Israel’s Yediot Achronot newspaper that Israel would need to dismantle some settlements and withdraw from most of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, as well as parts of eastern Jerusalem.
