Israel’s fate will be decided during the coming summer, or perhaps even earlier, Premier David Ben Gurion predicted today, addressing the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee of the Israel Parliament. This, he said, necessitates the use of all means at the government’s disposal to strengthen the security of the State despite the fact that Israel’s economic situation is serious.

Mr. Ben Gurion reported to the committee on the political situation, as well as the security aspects. He expressed similar views yesterday when he spoke to a meeting of members of the Cabinet to which representatives of Israel’s labor parties and of the Histadrut had been invited.
