Israel’s High Court of Justice postponed until April 20 a hearing on a petition to recognize Conservative conversions of adopted children. The Ne’eman Committee recently recommended the creation of a pluralistic conversion institute. The conversions themselves would be carried out by the Orthodox Rabbinate.
