Israel’s High Court rejected a request from the families of two terrorist victims that their alleged murderers be extradited from Europe to stand trial in Israel. The two Palestinians were deported to Europe last year under an internationally brokered deal to end the Israeli army siege of Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity, where armed Palestinians had taken refuge. The court said Wednesday that there is no justification for the extradition request because of the brokered understanding, Israel Radio reported.
