Israel’s sixth Independence Day was celebrated in Moscow and other capitals in Communist Europe, it was reported here today.
In Moscow several Russian Ministers, including an Assistant Foreign Minister, attended the Israel Legation’s reception on Independence Day. Ministers of various governments attended other Israel Legation parties in Warsaw, Bucharest, Prague and Belgrade. In the last alone representatives of the local Jewish communities attended the affair.
