Israel’s Likud Party is maintaining a strong lead over the Labor Party in the runup to January elections, a poll said. According to the poll published Thursday in the Israeli daily Ha’aretz, Likud will get 41 seats in the 120-member Knesset, a significant increase from the 19 seats it currently holds. The poll added that Labor will win 21 seats, a drop from its current 26 seats.
