Israel’s national airline is implementing a series of policy changes, including improving its frequent flyer benefits, in an effort to win back customers, El Al’s director general said this week. Meanwhile, earlier this week the airline said it plans to cancel several routes in the fall — including service to Copenhagen, Nairobi, Kenya, and St. Petersburg, Russia — as a result of falling revenues caused by the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian violence.
