A. L. Kubovy, Israel’s new Minister to Chile, presented his credentials here to President Ibanez in a solemn ceremony at which the President declared his friendship for Israel and lauded teh democratic principles upon which the Jewish State is built.
The Israel envoy was given an enthusiastic reception by the Jewish population here. A banquet in his honor, arranged by the Jewish community, was attended by numerous high government officials and leading Chilean personalities.
