Israel’s Consul General in New York, Ambassador Katriel Katz, this weekend presented to Undersecretary of Commerce Franklin Roosevelt, Jr., the first copy of an Israeli postage stamp honoring the late Eleanor Roosevelt. The stamp, which will officially go on sale tomorrow, is the first one ever issued by Israel bearing the portrait of a non-Jew.
