Israel’s public security minister said he supports the idea of freeing some Palestinian prisoners as a goodwill gesture. Avigdor Kahalani said the prisoners he wanted released do not have “blood on their hands.” About 100 prisoners are being considered for release, according to the Israeli newspaper Yediot Achronot.
