Gift parcels containing a winter undershirt, cigarettes and a greeting card in Arabic were distributed to prisoners of war in Israel by the Magen David Adom, Israel’s national Red Cross service, it was reported today by the agency’s affiliate here, the American Red Mogen Dovid for Israel. The gift parcels were given to the Arab POWs on the occasion of the Moslem holy month of Ramadan. The enclosed cards named the donor, and said “the prayers of all of us are for peace.”
