Israel’s Supreme Court ordered Shas Party legislator Nissim Ze’ev to pay some $400,000 in damages for a botched circumcision he performed seven years ago. Rejecting an appeal filed by Ze’ev, the court increased the damages he must pay from the original sum of about $75,000.
