Israel’s top court upheld a controversial law that prevents Palestinians married to Israeli Arabs from living in Israel. The High Court of Justice, by a vote of 6-5, rejected petitions Sunday against the 2003 immigration law. Israeli officials called it a security measure, but civil rights groups said the law is an attempt to limit Arab population growth in the country.
