Israel’s tourism minister wants to legalize gambling in Eilat and pattern it on the model of Las Vegas. Avraham Herschson is taking a delegation to Las Vegas in June to learn about the casino business, including how taxes on casinos can be used to improve education and how police have kept casinos free of criminal control, the Jerusalem Post reported.
