Israel’s trade minister, Natan Sharansky, is visiting Russia for two days of talks. The meetings are expected to focus on Israeli concerns about Russian nuclear cooperation with Iran. Sharansky, who is expected to speak with Russian Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin and Foreign Minister Yevgeny Primakov, recently met with U.S. Vice President Al Gore to discuss efforts aimed at encouraging Moscow to end such cooperation.
