Israel’s vice prime minister said the Gaza Strip withdrawal could take as little as two weeks. “I think it will take no more than two weeks,” Ehud Olmert told the Jerusalem Post on Sunday, adding that the government wanted the pullout from Gaza and the northern West Bank, slated to begin in mid-August, to be carried out “as fast as possible.”
