Ten Jewish communities of the “Hoosier” State were represented at a dinner conference at the Columbia Club here by leaders of the $3,000,000 United Jewish Appeal. Rabbi Ferdinand M. Isserman, of St. Louis, spoke, and his “eye witness” story of the fate of German Jewry made a profound impression.
Indianapolis was represented by Isadore Feibelman and others. Marion was represented by Samuel. Flech, Lafayette, Crawfordville, Lebanon, Kokomo, Logansport, Shelbyville, Peru, Wabash, South Bend and Muncie were also represented.
