The call for the election of delegates to the eighth session of the American Jewish Congress which will be held at the Hotel Willard, Washington, October 19 and 20 has been issued. As previously announced the Rt. Hon. Harry Snell, Labor member of the British Parliament and a member of the Palestine Inquiry Commission will be the principal speaker.
In addition to acting on the reports of the work of the Congress to be submitted by the officers the Washington session will deal with problems affecting the Jews in Eastern Europe, the Jewish National Home in Palestine and the various forms of discrimination practiced against Jews in the United States in the fields of education and employment, and the proposed alien registration bills.
