It was announced officially today that the S.M. von Rothschild Bank has been taken over by the Austrian Credit Institute. Baron Louis von Rothschild is reported still under arrest, contrary to recent reports that he had been released. Baron Louis was arrested shortly after annexation of Austria by Germany.
Police yesterday searched records of the Rothschild Hospital, questioned the staff and took into custody Dr. Max Wachstein.
