The Italian Automobile firm, Alpha Romeo, was reported today to be considering the transfer of manufacturing and assembly of its Giulia model to Israel.
A team of Alpha Romeo executives visited Israel recently and decided to recommend that Giulias be assembled in Israel from parts to be made in Israel, with the exception of stamped metal body components.
The large Italian Marzotto Textile Company has organized a trip to Israel for a group of 80 of its employees for the end of October, it was announced here today. The group will visit not only the usual Israeli tourist spots but will meet with officials of Israeli trade unions and textile firms.
