Premier Amintore Fanfani has postponed his visit to Egypt to permit him to remain in Rome to be host to foreign delegations arriving in Rome for the coronation of Pope John XXIII, he said today. A new date for his trip will be fixed in consultation with Cairo, he added.
Signor Fanfani said that no date had been set for his visit to Israel and said there was no urgency about that visit. He expressed belief the date for that visit would be fixed soon in agreement with the Israel Government.
