The Italian Cabinet today decided that no Jew may henceforth be enrolled in the fascist party. exceptions will be made only in favor of those who, because of “personal merits,” are exempted from the decisions of the fascist grand council concerning Jews of Italian nationality. (It was announced officially on Saturday that 3,522 Jewish families, OF A total of approximately 15,000, were exempt from the recently-enacted anti-Jewish laws.)
