Coincident with the second anniversary of inauguration of Italian racial laws, the Rome Government has announced it will enforce these laws to the limit, according to the Rome correspondent of the Koelnische Zeitung.
The correspondent said leading Italian quarters felt such action was fully justified at this time. These laws provide for restriction of Jews in professions, the ousting of Jews from Government positions and the armed forces, denationalization of foreign-born Jews and a ban on marriages between Jews and “Aryans.”
