Italy’s prime minister said he will raise the issue of anti-Semitism at the next European Union summit. Silvio Berlusconi, who also holds the E.U.’s rotating presidency, promised a delegation from the European Jewish Congress that he would communicate their concerns about anti-Semitism at the next European summit meeting, scheduled for Dec. 12 in Brussels. At Monday’s meeting in Milan, Berlusconi reiterated his commitment to Israeli-Palestinian peace and his friendship toward Israel and European Jewry, the EJC said in a statement.
