Itzhak Perlman, world-renowned Israeli violin virtuoso, will give a benefit performance Tuesday evening, Feb. 22, at Temple Rodeph Sholom. Performing with him will be Josef Kalichstein, the young Israeli concert pianist who has appeared with major orchestras around the world. The performance will be for the benefit of the scholarship fund of the Rodeph Sholom Nursery and Day Schools. Since the Temple absorbs the school’s large operating deficit, all scholarship money is raised by the parents at an annual benefit.
