The United Jewish Welfare Fund of Los Angeles is completing plans for the yearly inauguration of its $200,000 campaign for national and international Jewish institutions. At a series of meetings Irving H. Hellman was chosen campaign chairman; I. Irving Lipsitch, secretary; Louis S. Nordlinger, treasurer.
At the regular monthly B’nai B’rith Lodge meeting, the question of organizing the lodge for the purpose of aiding the campaign this year was acted upon. David Tannenbaum, president of the B’nai B’rith Lodge, is campaign director of the United Jewish Welfare Fund Appeal.
