Beckelman, JDC director-general for overseas operation, who died in New York Saturday. Messages of condolence were pouring into JDC headquarters from all parts of Europe.
(In New York, major Jewish organizations joined the JDC today in mourning the sudden death of Mr. Beckelman who will be interred tomorrow at Har Zion Cemetery in Philadelphia, following funeral services at 2 P.M. at the Riverside Memorial Chapel in New York. Among the organizations who today expressed grief were the United Hias Service, American ORT Federation, and American Committee of OSF and Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds.)
