Pesach Litvak, representative of the Joint Distribution Committee, loft for Cyprus today to aid in the liquidation of the Jewish DP camps on the island.

Meanwhile, Harry Viteles, J.D.C. Middle East director, voiced the hope that Britain’s decision to release the Cyprus Jews would be followed by the release of the thousands of Jews in Aden.

The J.D.C, announced here that it has purchased 273 tons of Israel-made citrus Jams, 80 tons of chocolate and 80,000 bottles of wine for shipment to the Jewish displaced persons camps in Germany and Austria.
