Charles H. Jordan, Overseas director general of the Joint Distribution Committee, left today for Warsaw where he will be the principal speaker at the official dedication of a new Jewish Home for the Aged, the first to be built in Poland since the end of World War II.
Funds for the Home were contributed by the JDC with the assistance of the Polish Government and the British Central Fund. Polish Government officials and Polish Jewish leaders will take part in the dedication. Akiva Kohan, JDC director for Poland, and Max A. Braude, director-general of the World Ort Union, accompanied Mr. Jordan.
