Dr. Bernard Kahn and Mr. David Schweitzer, representatives of the Joint Distribution Committee, conferred all day yesterday with representatives of the local Jewish population concerning the scope and method of relief to be extended to the suffering Jewish population in Poland.
Numerous delegations from Warsaw and the provincial cities were heard by the Joint Distribution Committee representatives. Large sums alone are required to provide matzos for the forthcoming Passover season.
