Forty Greek Jews, rendered homeless by the shattering earthquakes in the Ionian islands, will receive emergency relief from the Joint Distribution Committee, headquarters of the agency here reported today.
(The Israeli naval flotilla which participated in the Ionian Island earthquake rescue operations, returned to its home base today and was welcomed by high Israeli officials and by the Greek Minister. The diplomat publicly thanked the Israeli naval men for the help they had rendered the Greek victims of the disaster.)
