J.D.C. Train with Food and Clothing for Polish Jews Arrives in Warsaw

A special train of the International Red Cross arrived here with forty carloads of food, clothing and medical supplies and equipment for a 100-bed hospital. The transport was addressed to the office of the Joint Distribution Committee in Warsaw and is a part of the J.D.C. relief program for the Jews in Poland.

William Bein, J.D.C. representative for Poland, was received here today by the new Minister for Social Security, M. Kurilowicz, and reported to him on the activities of his organization among Jews throughout the country. The minister displayed great interest in the J.D.C. relief plans.
