A three-day national conference, dedicated to Palestine Jewry’s wartime needs and to the consideration of plans for post-war colonization there, will open on December 25 at the Hotel Book-Cadillac in Detroit, Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the J.N.F. of America, announced today.
The conference will be attended by delegates of all Zionist parties and groups, of national Jewish organizations and delegates of Jewish National Fund Councils in more than 1,000 communities in all parts of the nation. In will consider the achievements of the Jewish National Fund in Palestine and in the United States since the outbreak of the war and formulate plans for the mobilization of American Jewry’s support for a large-scals colonization, program for the settlement in Palestine of two to three million Jews after the war. Dr. Goldstein said.
