The total income of the Jewish National Fund of America from blue-and-white collection beres in the last two years amounted to $1,059,606, Dr. Harris J. Lovine, president of the organization, announced here today.
In a move to demonstrate its appreciation of the services rendered by J.N.F. members who collect money for the purchase and improvement of land in Israel through the traditional J.N.F. box collections, the organization has awarded four free trips to Israel to winners of the J.N.F. Box Contest. In addition ten awards of $100 worth of Israel merchandise were made. Finally, 83 book prizes were given.
