The income of the Jewish National Fund from all sources during the fiscal quarter from Oct. 1946-Jan. 1947 was more than $5,300,000, it was revealed here today. The total is 60 percent greater than the income during the same period last year.
The J.N.F. of the United States contributed more than $4,100,000 or 77.6 percent of the total. From the British Empire came nearly $650,000 or 12 percent, while in Palestine the J.N.F. income was over $250,000 or five percent. During the three month period the J.N.F. purchased more than 3,500 acres of land and 21 settlements were established on land owned by it.
