Transfer of the executive offices and New York operations of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency to new headquarters at 660 First Avenue, New York City, was announced today by Louis P. Rocker, president of the JTA. The agency will operate from its new quarters next Monday.
The move, which gives JTA direct access to the radio facilities of Press Wireless, Inc., which JTA leases for its worldwide radio network, will considerably improve the efficiency of the JTA operation, Mr. Rocker declared. The transfer will also facilitate conversion of JTA circuits to Israel and some South America points from Morse Code to high-speed radio printer.
