The Fourth Biennial Convention of the Jewish Welfare Board will be held in Washington, D. C., on Sunday, December 16, Judge Irving Lehman of New York City announced.
Several hundred delegates from all parts of the country, representing over 300 constituent Jewish Community Centers and Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Associations of the Jeish Welfare Board, are expected to attend.
Judge Lehman, president of the Jewish Welfare Board, Dr. Cyrus Adler, chairman of the Army and Navy Committee, Benjamin J. Buttenwieser, treasurer and Harry G. Glucksman, executive director of the Board will present their reports.
Leon J. Obermayer of Philadelphia is chairman of the Committee on Arrangements.
