Jabotinsky Joins Ben Avi in Sponsoring Latin Alphabet for Hebrew Books

The movement to substitute the Latin alphabet for the ancient Hebrew letters has the support of Vladimir Jabotinsky.

In a communication addressed to Ittamar Ben Avi, who recently initiated this movement by publishing a Hebrew book in Latin characters, Mr. Jabotinsky states that Jacob Cohen, the Hebrew poet, Dr. Bodenheimer, Mr. Jabotinsky himself and others are working for this reform.

JACOB WASSERMANN SAILS FOR EUROPE

Jacob Wassermann, famous German Jewish poet and novelist, who came to the United States early in February, sailed with Mrs. Wassermann on the steamer Albert Ballin last night. While in this country, Mr. Wassermann lectured in several cities and visited the Pacific Coast.
