Jacob Mordecai Wolfsan. Jewish newspaper man of Chicago died here yesterday at the age of 63.
Mr. Wolisohn came to America in 1891 and to Chicago four years later. He was a contributor to the “Yiddishes (###) and for several years was editor of the “Daily Jewish “Courier.” He was the author of the “Jewish Chronology” and “Our Procumbent Jewish Women” and was editor of the Chicago Alamance and Yearbook since 1923. At one time he was superintendent of the St. Loris Orthodox Home for Jewish Aged. One of his seems, Joel David Wolisohn, is political editor of the “Chicago Evening Post.” Leo A. Wolisohn another son, is news editor of the “M(###) Journal.” He is also (###) by has window.
