Jacob Parnes, editor of the weekly “Brazilianer Yiddishe Tzeitung,” which he founded here in 1952, died Monday at the age of 74 after a short illness. Born in Warsaw, Mr. Parnes settled in Brazil in the 1920s and since then was active in the local Jewish community life.
